Unique Bronze and Leather Daybed designed and constructed by Ira Grayboff, USA, 1950's
Grayboff was an artist, architect, and furniture designer active in NYC and later Atlanta. He worked with Marcel Breuer in the 1950's and some of their correspondence is housed in the Smithsonian's archives. This daybed came directly from his estate. Excellent condition with wonderful original patina to the bronze. Leather cushion reupholstered in the 1980's. Minor scratches, spotting, and wear.
